Frequently asked questions
The first thing you must do is get referred by a medical practitioner.
This can be any healthcare professional including GPs, consultants, physios, dieticians.
Once we receive your referral we will contact you with a date for induction.
Please visit our page 'How to get started' by clicking here, for more information.
At the induction, you will be met by our team of clinical exercise instructors and one of our doctors.
The doctor will first speak with the group of new participants outlining what to expect from the classes and the importance of these classes on your health and wellbeing.
Then you will take part in basic fitness test assessments which will measure your current strength and cardio levels. This is done so that when we re-test you after 12 weeks you can compare and see your improvement.
Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring water and reading glasses if required.
The induction usually lasts 90 minutes in total.
Many of our centres across the country are partially funded and as such may differ in price. Please email info@exwell.ie or the email address on the homepage of each centre for pricing offers.
If you are only going to be missing a small number of classes there is no need to contact us. If however, you are planning on going on holiday for a week or two please inform a member of staff at your centre when booking your monthly package beforehand and they will inform you of a potentially more suitable package for that month.
