ExWell Medical Online Booking

All classes & inductions must be pre-booked online here

We are delighted to announce our return! Our first location that is open is the IWA in Clontarf.

We have sought recommendations from Sport Ireland, hospital consultants and GPs regarding our reopening guidelines and protocols and we will be taking all necessary steps to keep everyone safe.

One measure we are taking is to have an online booking system for all of our locations. This is to minimise risk by ensuring the number of participants attend, there is no interaction with receptionists and no handling of money.

Please be aware you will not be permitted access to any site without a prior booking.

We have 3 different types of classes to choose from:

  • Standard Class – this is a moderate intensity class that is suited for most individuals and is a good class to start out with. There will be aerobic, resistance, core and balance exercises. The instructor will give ways to make certain exercises easier or harder depending what is comfortable for you.

  • Gentle Class – this class is mostly chair based and is suitable for individuals who need a lower intensity work out. Aerobic, resistance, core and balance exercises will be given.

  • Advanced Class – this class is only suitable to those who are able for high intensity exercise. Aerobic, resistance, core and balance exercises will be complete.

Please do NOT attend any classes or inductions if you experienced any of the following:

  • You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days

  • You are waiting for a COVID-19 test or the results

  • You have any of the following symptoms: new, continuous cough; high temperature or fever; or loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste.

  • If you live with someone who has either tested positive for COVID-19 or had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

October 7th 2020 Nationwide Level 3 COVID Alert

Dear ExWell Clontarf Participants,

As you might all be aware, there are likely restrictions to come into place for Dublin from this weekend.

In preparation for the announcement, we wanted to assure everyone that we will be complying with all new guidelines. If Dublin does increase to Level 3 or indeed Level 4, exercise in groups of 15 are still allowed outdoors. This information can be seen here https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/ad569-level-3/#sports and here https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/dc29a-level-4/#exercise-and-sporting-events

We have had consultations with our medical consultants and the IWA and have made arrangements to host classes from next week in the car park of the IWA. Continuing to exercise as well as getting fresh air has never been more important. Chairs will be available and some weights but if you own your own dumbbells we recommend you to bring these along. Access to toilets will also be available if necessary.

The class schedule will remain the same and you will still book online here https://exwell.connect.tm3app.com/book/clontarf_classes

We will have a limited capacity of 14 for each class to allow for an instructor to be present also.

We will also be wavering the €10 cancellation/non-attendance fee whilst this lock down is going on as we are aware that weather conditions might affect your ability to attend last minute.

We will endeavour to host the classes in all weather so please dress accordingly! If the weather is extremely bad we will cancel the class and you will be notified via email so please check your emails before you attend. In the event of cancellations your €10 will be credited to your account to book a new class.

We are delighted to be back and want to continue to support everyone a we all learn to live with COVID.

Kind Regards,

The ExWell Medical Team
